The
Benalup Golf & Country Club is the latest addition to
the courses in the Cádiz region. It is a Belgian
development. The course, designed by golf architect Baron
Paul Rolin, opened in July 2001 and is situated on the top
of a hill just outside the town Benalup. It provides
fascinating views over the inland landscape.
The
course is situated in a reasonably open area with many lakes
which makes play quite challenging.
Visitors are welcomed with Belgian hospitality, the first
drink is on the house and lunch is included in the green
fee.
Benalup
Golf is an environment friendly course constructed using
TerraCottem. The fairways and greens have been set up in an
ecologically responsible way in this lightly forested area.
The 18 hole golf course has many water obstacles. Benalup
Golf has a splendid view of the 'Laguna de la Janda', an
enormous plain where the lake once was. In clear weather you
can easily see the coast of Africa.
